They forged a friendship slowly - like pounding-coal-into-diamond, slowly - until they had the opportunity to live together in the years following college. That experience, along with many years of love and support led to a priceless bond. Mari is the fancy cheese to Amber's charcuterie.

Amber and Nichole's friendship began as a tutorship. Amber hated business accounting and Nichole took pity on the student struggling next to her. Weeks later, Amber dropped out of the Business School, changed her major to English and kept the new friendship with Nichole. They went on to become room mates, cherished confidants, and forever friends. Nichole is the tequila to Amber's margarita.

Amber and Tori met in the final weeks of one Spring semester at CofC. On a whim, Tori invited Amber to travel up to see her over the summer at Lake George, NY where she taught sailing. A 14-hr road trip later, they were bonded forever and would become room mates and dear friends, with many years of zombie pub crawls in their future. Tori is the wind beneath Amber's sails.

Lizzy was a kind soul raising money for a good cause by selling handmade candles. Amber was organizing an artisans' market at a music and arts festival in Charleston, SC. A mutual friend connected them and seemingly overnight they became each other's room mate, friend, cheerleader, and therapist. Lizzy is the buttercream to Amber's cookie cake.

Nikki is Amber's slightly older, not wiser, cousin. They didn't get along at first because Nikki was a bossy pants and Amber didn't like bossy pants. As time went on, their differences turned into similarities and their relation turned into an amazing friendship. Nikki is the original glazed Krispy Kreme donut to Amber's coffee.
