What's better than a biscuit the size of a softball? If you answered C) one that's covered in gravy, we've got a place for you. Great for breakfast, brunch, or every meal, Biscuit Head offers delicious food, friendly service, and a honey and jam bar that is....the JAM. Puns aside, it's delicious. You should go.
If you want to enjoy a tasty local coffee, soda, or choose from a great selection of beers - check out Grateful Brew. The business is located in an old travel agency that was styled after an a-frame alpine lodge. It's got all the character, treats, and relaxing ambiance you could hope for in Greenville.
A great space to hang out in an upscale version of a shipping container food court, Gather Greenville delivers with options like HenDough Chicken & Donuts, The Lob Father, and Saki Saki. They offer multiple restaurants, loads of fun drinks, and outdoor seating to be enjoyed fireside all at one location. It's just behind the baseball field and blocks away from the main strip of down town. We'll meet you there!
If you're looking for a foodless, beerless excursion in Greenville, Horizon Records is a great spot. It's local, has a wide selection of records, cds, and more, and is located just blocks down the road from our wedding venue. If you really can't do without the food or beer, you're in luck because it's also attached to a restaurant called the Bohemian that does a proper Bloody Mary bar on the weekends.
Do you have children? Do those children have a lot of energy? Yes and Yes? Perfect. The Children's Museum is an awesome space for kids and parents alike. It's definitely worth a tour. Tell Sarah we sent you! Just kidding - we don't know any Sarahs who work there. You can only go if you have children. Can we borrow your children?
We love a good thrift excursion and the Buncombe Antiques Mall has a huge stock of items. This is one of the bigger locations in the area and we always find something we can't resist. It's a little of the beaten path and up in Taylors, but if you want to kill a few hours it's definitely worth the ride.
Don't want to drive? If you're staying downtown and looking for some walkable entertainment - Falls Park on the Reedy is a beautiful space to relax with a cup of coffee from the nearby Spill the Beans coffee shop, or a park bench baguette from the even closer French bistro, La Passerelle.
