Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at Acacia Ridge Winery.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we've chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. Kids are welcome to come along to the recovery day the following day

If you have any food allergies or dietary requirements, please let Portia or Jed know so we can accommodate you.

Is there a gifts registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is more than enough. However, if you would like to give a gift, we will have a wishing well on the day, with contributions going towards our honeymoon.

BYO alcohol?

We kindly ask that guests do not bring their own drinks or alcohol to the venue. A selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the celebration for everyone to enjoy.

Is there car parking?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue for guests who choose to drive their own vehicle.

What time do we have to leave the venue by?

Answer

Guests are required to depart the venue no later than 10:00pm (Time TBC) We kindly ask everyone to leave in a quiet and timely manner out of respect for the venue

Can we leave cars in the car park overnight?

Answer

Cars can be left in the car park overnight. We kindly ask that all vehicles are collected by 11:00am the following day, as penalties may apply after this time.

Will there be transport?

Answer

Yes, buses will be available for guest transport. They will return guests to Balgownie Estate, Healesville, and Yarra Glen at the conclusion of the evening. The buses will depart Acacia Ridge Winery at 10:00pm. (Depart time TBC)

Can we have alcohol on bus transport?

Answer

We kindly ask for no alcohol or beverages to be on the bus's, otherwise penalties will apply

Are there ubers and taxi's available?

Answer

Please note transport in the Yarra Valley like ubers and taxis is rare/unreliable. Bus transport is the only guaranteed ride home unless you are driving your own vehicle

When do we need to RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by 7 September so we can finalise our arrangements.

Is there a recovery day the next day?

Answer

We are excited to host a recovery day at the Balgownie Estate Yarra Glen Come and go as you please from 11:30am, with a relaxed atmosphere to unwind after the celebrations. Kids and plus ones are warmly welcome.

Who do I message for our bus transport pick up/drop off point?

Please message either Portia or Jed which pick up point you will be catching the bus from as stated under the travel tab
