We're Getting Married!

Portia and Jed met unexpectedly in 2023, neither of them were looking for anything serious. Their first meeting wasn’t exactly a fairytale—Portia thought Jed was a bit of a pest after a car ride from a christmas party through mutual friends. A few months later, they reconnected and started chatting, not thinking much of it. Then football and netball season rolled around, and by chance they both ended up playing for Wycheproof. From there, things quickly changed—what started as friendship soon grew into something more. Jed asked Portia to be his girlfriend while on a family holiday in Robe, SA, and not long after, they built a life together—by moving into a rental together to then buying their first home in Maiden Gully. On September 29th, Jed got down on one knee, and of course, Portia said yes. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their special day and this next chapter with all the people they love most.
