We’re getting married!

Jamie committed to play college basketball at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. She was paired with another incoming freshman as a roommate- Trishelle Porter. On move in day Doug (Trevor’s dad) sent a text to him saying he found the perfect girl for him, and Trevor and Jamie met exactly a month later. Trishelle’s older sister Tristan was also on the basketball team. The three hit it off and soon spent lots of time together. The sisters invited Jamie to go watch their younger sister- Treagan’s volleyball game. That is where Trevor and Jamie first met. During the volleyball game the two shared one funny conversation regarding Nemo, and the girls headed back to college once the game was over. On the way home Tristan’s car got a flat tire. Jamie had a great idea “call your brother to come help”, the two spent the evening on the side of Highway 54 getting to know each other. If you ask Jamie she would say she helped Trevor a lot with the tire, Trevor would probably say otherwise. After getting the spare tire on Trevor decided to follow Tristan’s car back to Fulton to make sure it got back to college safely. Not even two minutes later another tire blew out, so Trevor spent the next three hours in Trishelle and Jamie’s dorm with the rest of the group while waiting for Doug- their dad to arrive with a trailer. Jamie and Trevor got to spend that time getting to know about each others families and future plans. They hit it off so well their first date was less than a week later!
