Flight
The closest major airport is Denver International Airport. Abundant car rentals are available. There are public transport options; the Flatiron Flyer has a bus route that will take you directly from the airport into Boulder. There are multiple stops along the way, the closest stop is less than a mile from the hotel.
Shuttle

The Gold Hill Inn is located approximately 45 minutes from our hotel block. This is a small, old town that is up in the foothills west of Boulder proper and requires driving up a single lane canyon, a short portion of which is dirt/gravel. For this reason we will have shuttles that can take guests from the Renaissance Hotel with a departure time of 3:45 pm leaving ample time for traffic and to settle in before the ceremony. Following the reception, two departure times will be offered with one shuttle departing early at 8:30pm and another at the conclusion of the reception at 10:00 pm.
Travel Note
If you choose to drive please note Google and Apple Maps will offer several routes. Below is the most straight forward and advised. If you plan to drive, 4 wheel or all wheel drive is recommended as there are portions of the road that are unpaved. Directions: Google Maps instructions to the recommended route via Sunshine Canyon from The Renaissance Hotel is linked below. Here are written instructions. Take US 36W from Interlocken 7.8 miles to the Baseline Rd. exit toward CO-93. (I do recommend using maps to get you from the hotel to the highway- the roads around here are unfortunately a little tricky and not intuitive!) Turn left on Baseline Rd. Drive 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Broadway. Drive 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Mapleton Ave. (This is 3 blocks north of the Pearl St. Mall, it is not at a light or stop sign). Mapleton Avenue turns into Sunshine Canyon about half a mile up the road. Please be careful at the stop sign on 9th and Mapleton, it can be pretty blind. You will drive past Mt. Sanitas on your right. Continue up the canyon for a total of about 10 miles. You will be gaining approximately 3,000 ft of elevation and about 1 mile of the road is gravel, hence the recommendation for 4 wheel drive. As you approach the town of Gold Hill Sunshine Canyon turns towards the left and the road becomes Horsfalls St. Turn right onto Main Street and the destination is on the left. Please note there is a parking lot available as well as street parking. Lot availability may be limited. UBER AND OTHER RIDE SHARES DO NOT SERVICE GOLD HILL.
