To set the stage, imagine it's 2017. Jay Sean is still pretty big and all the brown kids flock to Mosaic to see him perform. Pooja and Gurkyrat are both in attendance but have never met. Gurk, being Gurk, buys a table right next to Jay Sean. Pooja on the other hand, being gujju, definitely does no such thing. Pooja is at Mosaic and is having the best time when her best friend Anam (who is friends with Gurk) invites her to Gurk's table. Pooja rallies the troops and brings all her girlfriends to the table. They go up to the table and are there for 3 minutes before Pooja sees Gurk, through the corner of her eye, talking to the bouncer. The bouncer proceeds to kick Pooja and her friends off the table. As you can imagine, Pooja is annoyed and hates Gurkyrat. A year passes and Pooja still resents Gurk. It's now 2018 and we're both invited to Anam's Final Four KU vs Villanova house party in Lawrence. Pooja sees Gurk in attendance and immediately flashes back to that Mosaic Night and decides to approach Gurk. He "apologizes" and they shake hands. Pooja still doesn't really like him lol. The year is now 2020, and the Kansas City Chiefs are fresh off a Super Bowl victory. Anam has an extra ticket to a game and invites Pooja. Little did Pooja know that Gurkyrat is one that orchestrated the plans. She arrives at the tailgate and sees Gurkyrat with his friends. We slowly started talking and bring up the volatile history. While hanging out, Pooja realizes that Gurkyrat is hilarious and wants to explore the friendship. They add each other on Snapchat and begin talking...
