What should I wear?

Answer

Formal, Semi-formal, Cocktail Attire: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits and dark jackets and slacks.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm in the Barn with the cocktail hour immediately following in the Terrace Room (directly next to the Barn). The reception will begin at 7pm in the Ballroom.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in the Barn; the doors will be open, weather permitting. If needed, there will be heaters for guests. The cocktail hour will take place on the Terrace which is a semi-outdoor area (weather permitting). The reception will take place indoors in the Ballroom.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 11pm. If you wish to continue the night, meet us at the Hilton Garden Inn lobby bar for an informal after-party.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Join us Sunday morning for breakfast from 9-11am at the Hilton Garden Inn. If you are planning on coming into town Friday night, please let us know.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Passed hors d'oeuvres and light bites will be served during the cocktail hour. We will have a salad course, a main course (chicken, surf & turf, or vegetarian/vegan options), and dessert at the reception. The open bar will be available for both the cocktail hour and reception.

We want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal at our wedding. Please indicate any restrictions/allergies on your RSVP card. You can also call/text/email Shannon or Marc.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5pm in the barn. Guests can start to arrive at 430pm.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the wedding venue.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the venue. Buses will pick guests up at the Hilton Garden Inn around 4-415pm (exact time TBD). If you are driving to the venue, please drive safe. The wedding venue is French Creek Golf Club at 4500 Conestoga Road, Elverson, PA 19520. From the hotel parking lot, turn right onto PA-100 N for 2 miles. Turn left onto PA-401 W for 7 miles. After crossing PA-345, French Creek Golf Club will be on your right.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved two different discounted hotel blocks. Both hotels are walking distance from each other and share the same parking lot. For more information and to book your room, click on the travel section. The last day to reserve to receive a discont is March 23rd.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We love pictures and want you to take as many as you’d like! However, we are asking that all cell phones remain away during our unplugged ceremony; it’s not often that we can take a break from our devices and we’d love for you to be in the moment with us.

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in town?

Answer

Philadelphia is about 45 minutes away! Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is truly all we need. However, if you wish to give a gift, we are registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and Crate & Barrel. Visit the Registry section of our wedding website for the direct links.

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

While we will miss our family and friends that cannot make it, we have decided not to do a virtual wedding celebration.
