What type of venue is Eden at Gracefield?

Answer

Eden at Gracefield is an amazing venue! It is a weekend getaway for everyone. We have rented the venue from Friday 9am to Sunday at noon. Guests are welcome to enjoy the property with us all weekend long. There are 5 homes rented on the property. We will all be able to enjoy the amenities before and after the wedding. People may enjoy swimming in the manor house's pool, fishing in one of the lakes, biking, bird watching or just enjoying the peace and seclusion of the estate.

Are children invited to attend the wedding?

We love your kids, but you deserve a night out! This wedding is adults only.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Weekend Stay - Casual, comfy, whatever floats your boat! Wedding - Cocktail Attire. Ceremony will be outdoors followed by a barn hall reception! Bring your dancing shoes!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Your RSVP will be completed online using the QR code that is sent with your invitation. If you do not respond, we cannot confirm there will be a seat (or meal) for you... and we would hate for that to happen!

What hotel should I stay at?

Answer

There are many different hotel options in Walterboro, SC - ranging from $50 to $250 a night. Please research the best option for you! There will be a bus that will pick guests up from two different hotels to bring to Eden at Gracefield before the wedding. After the wedding the bus will then drive guests back to those same two hotels! Here are some options: Hampton Inn & Suites - Walterboro (bus stop) Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Walterboro (bus stop) Best Western of Walterboro ($120 a night as of 4/11) Quality Inn ($85 a night as of 4/11) Comfort Inn & Suites ($130 a night as of 4/11) Days Inn by Wyndham ($70 a night as of 4/11) Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham ($120 a night as of 4/11) Red Roof Inn ($64 a night as of 4/11) and more!

Is there transportation from the hotel to the wedding and back?

Answer

There will be a bus to transport guests to and from the hotels to the wedding venue and back. We suggest taking advantage of this option to make sure you make it to the wedding safely and on time. You may also consider Uber/Lyft but rideshares may be limited in Walterboro.

Is there parking at Eden at Gracefield?

Answer

Yes - there is parking at the venue! Gates close at 4:55pm before the ceremony.

Will there be traffic?

Answer

If you are coming from Charleston, be sure to check your GPS for best routes... during rush hour you can expect there to be heavy traffic from downtown Charleston.

How do I book a room in the 'Pollack-Simons' wedding block?

Answer

Check out our travel page, we have two hotels listed in Walterboro - The Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn. There are also AirBNBs or VRBOs that can be rented as well!

How far is the airport from the wedding venue?

Answer

You can fly into the Charleston International Airport (CHS) or the Savannah/Hilton Head (SAV) airport. Both are approximately an hour away from the venue. You may want to rent a car if you plan to sightsee in the area!

Is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Nope! You will be able to walk from the ceremony directly to the Event Barn's patio for cocktail hour. Take a look at our "schedule" section for a complete timeline of events!
