When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP no later than March 18, 2026! If you don't RSVP in time there is no guarantee that there will be a space for you or food. March 18, 2026 is the firm cut off date for our caterer.

What do I wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable! Whatever you feel like wearing that day. If you want to dress up go all out but if you want to be casual we are totally fine with that as well. This event is about the love we share, not what we wear. The only thing we ask is that you don't wear white, cream or ivory! If you wear white the groom/groomsmen will forcibly remove you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome! If your invitation states and family, your kids are invited!

Where are you guys registered at?

Answer

Since we are two adults already living together our preferred gifts would be a contribution to our honeymoon or home fund but if you'd rather give a gift we have added some items to a couple different registries that are below. Thank you for helping us celebrate our upcoming wedding! We are registered at Amazon & Target.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking on the street is free. Austin and Kelsey renting out a below ground parking ramp that is attached to the venue. It is underneath the orange Cedar Rapids sign under the big green space. You enter across from the main entrance to the Veterans Memorial Building

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive around 3:30 to make sure you can find parking and find a seat! ☺️

What’s the drink situation at the reception?

Answer

There will be both hosted and cash bar options. Once the hosted runs out it will be a cash bar. Bar can be paid either by cash or card. Please remember to tip the bartenders! ☺️

We are traveling for your wedding is there anything we should know?

Answer

If it is your first time to Iowa welcome! Our roads are heavily trafficked by police, air and speed cameras. The limit for cameras is 7 over and they will send you a ticket. Just FYI. If you are flying in CID is a 10 minute drive to the venue. If you would like to fly into DSM (Des Moines) it's about a 2 hour drive. If you are looking for things to do while you are here besides the wedding please go to the things to do tab on our website!

What is your party going to be like?

Answer

We are planning on partying pretty hard. After 10:00ish the music will change to all club/EDM and they will not be the censored version. If you are sensitive to obscene language we would recommend you not stick around after 10:00 PM. If dancing isn't your thing, we will have a photo booth and lots of other things going on for all of you non dancers (;
