In 2021, Jackie visited Denver for a wedding. At the time, she was a travel nurse considering a move to Denver for her next assignment. Since it could be her next stop, she decided to download dating apps and give them a try while she was in town. On the first night of the wedding weekend, during her very first Hinge date, she met Pj. During their first date, they bonded over their shared love for the Steelers, despite Jackie being from Orange County. Not long after their first date, Jackie moved to Denver for a nursing job. What was meant to be a temporary stay turned into a permanent one as Pj gradually won her over, and more importantly, won over her dog, Luna. Soon after, they moved in together in Sunnyside. They embraced a true Colorado lifestyle, enjoying hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and more! They love visiting family in Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, and New York, but Denver will always be the heart of their story. They can't wait to celebrate their love with all their friends and family in the city where their story began!
