Mountain Western Formal or Mountain Chic as the kids would say today- Montana Style! Ladies: Maxi or midi dresses and flowy skirts are acceptable. Feel free to spice things up with some Western flare. NO HIGH HEELS! There are metal grates outside of the building. We do not want anyone twisting their ankle or getting stuck. We have dancing to do! Wedges, booties, or block heels are acceptable. Gentleman: NO JEANS. Suit jackets, blazers or vests are suggested along with a button up collared shirt paired with a nice pair of slacks or dress pants. Ties are not required. Bolo ties, boots, cowboy hats, and Western wild rags (silk scarves) are encouraged! Don't forget, we will be in the mountains in June. Although we will mostly be inside for the duration of our special day, the temperatures may drop in the evening so be sure to have a layer to cover your shoulders by the end of the night. Wraps, shawls, and scarves are ideal for the ladies. Be prepared for Mother Nature to deliver whatever weather she desires on our big day. In Montana they say, "If you don't like the weather wait ten minutes." If you're lucky you'll have the pleasure of seeing all four seasons in a single day. Hopefully not, but it would not be unheard of.
Montana Casual Jeans and button up shirts are acceptable!
Shuttle Busses! We will be providing two shuttle busses departing from the Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Bozeman at 3:15 to arrive to the venue for our ceremony at 4PM. If you aren't staying there, no worries, just come to the hotel for a safe ride up to the mountain. We prefer that no one drives to the wedding so everyone can have a good time without thinking once about how they will make it safely home after one or a few adult beverages. We prefer no one drives to the venue for a few different reasons, alcohol, the winding Bridger Canyon Road, the lack of street lights and potential wildlife. Please reach out directly to PJ or Gabrielle to discuss further if you need to drive. There will be parking at the venue but your vehicle cannot stay there all night. If you choose to take the shuttle home at the end of the wedding, you vehicle must be parked at the main base (near the Jim Bridger Lodge or Grizzly Ridge Bar) of the ski hill and may be retrieved the following day. We will be staggering the shuttle return times at the end of the night so those who want to turn in early have the opportunity to head back before we shut it down.
