What is Camp Hale?

Answer

Historic Camp Hale lies within the Pando Valley, surrounded by the White River National Forest located fifteen miles from Vail, Colorado. Once home to 15,000+ American Soldiers, Camp Hale is the former training grounds for the 10th Mountain Army Division. Camp Hale is situated on rich, sacred land as after serving in World War II these soldiers returned home and initiated the Colorado Ski Industry, including Vail Mountain. Complete with a waterfront ceremony and backdrop of 12,000 foot mountain peaks nestled in Aspen and Pine trees - we cannot wait for you to see it!

Are Kids Invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We're happy to provide information on babysitting services either at your AIRBNB or at the hotel.

Is There Transportation To and From the Service?

Answer

Yes! We must insist that everyone take the shuttle services provided to and from Camp Hale. The meeting point is TBD, however, the shuttles are available to transport guests back to their hotel at any time during the ceremony and reception. Please keep in mind the ride up to Camp Hale is about a 30 minute drive.

What's The Dress Code

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please keep in mind that it may get a bit chilly when the sun sets, with temperatures dropping into the 40's at night. There will be firepits and heat lamps to help keep us warm, but considered yourselves warned!
