Our story starts as so many do nowadays, with a dating app and texting back and forth, until finally a date was set to meet: June 13th, 2016. When we first met at The Tipsy Cow in Sherman Oaks, CA we both knew instantly that this was something special. For PJ, it was Tom’s immediate honesty that drew him in. For Tom, it was PJ’s endearing eyes and of course his magnetic charm. For hours over french fries, IPA’s, and coffee, we sat talking and laughing - a precursor to what our future would hold. The years that followed were filled with holidays, vacations, countless Disneyland trips, brewery tours, working and living together in our apartment, moving across the country from California to Connecticut to set down roots, and now planning this beautiful wedding that will be one to remember. PJ & Tom got engaged on March 26th, 2022 during a weekend getaway to Oceanside, CA along the Pacific Ocean. In typical stubborn fashion, we both knew we wanted to propose, so we planned to read letters on the beach and ask for the other's hand in marriage. Our engagement was followed by a weekend filled with champagne, pool time, calls to loved ones, and overwhelming excitement. We can't wait to get married and start this next chapter in our lives on the road to forever.
