Traveling around Bangkok:
BTS- Skytrain system
MRT- Underground train system
GRAB- Asia/Thai version of UBER/UBEREATS. Try not to hail a cab yourself.
Other Cities:
Chiang Mai- The mountains of Thailand. Good vibes. Northern Thai food. 1-hour flight from BKK ($50-$75 RT)
Ayuttaya- Ancient city. Old city ruins and temples. You can rent a bike and go around the city. One-day trip from Bangkok.
Phuket/Krabi- November is a good time to visit. Dry, sunny and nice weather. 1-hour flight from BKK + a boat ride to the islands.
