It all started on Coffee Meets Bagel—where Lukey made what might have been the best first-date offer of all time: bringing Piya food before her shift at the café she worked at. Piya agreed (for the tacos… but also maybe for Lukey), and the two met at Goa Taco to kick things off. What was supposed to be a quick bite turned into Lukey walking her to work—and then staying for a few hours to keep the conversation going. Somewhere between tacos, bubble tea, and hours of talking, it became clear this wasn’t just a typical first date. So, naturally, they decided to keep it going and met up again later that night at a bowling alley. And just like that, one spontaneous, taco-fueled day turned into the beginning of something pretty special. From there, their story quickly expanded beyond that first day. Together, they explored new places and created memories across the world—from Chicago to Kyoto, and all the way to their hometowns in Bangkok and Jeonju, South Korea. They also quickly realized they were complete opposites—Piya an ENTJ, and Lukey her total MBTI opposite. But somehow, it just worked.
