Believe it or not it wasn't the typical dating app that brought us here today. But it was social media that connected us. We happened to be apart of a mutual FB Social Group and I had no idea that Jarves was a lurker lol...jk but he is definitely VERY observant. A few interactions in the group caught his eye because the friendly banter begin. Then came the friend request from Mr. Pitts which at the time I no longer just accepted anybody's request lol. I noticed we shared mutual friends so I reached out to my MOH and asked her to ask the mutual friend what was the 411 on this guy...is he crazy? Because those of you who know J he is private so his social media screamed of NOTHING lol. My MOH let me know that the mutual friend confirmed he was indeed a "good dude" so I proceeded to accept the friend request. And I had no idea that lead to FBI Agent Pitts combing through my page as he says to make sure I wasn't crazy, ratchet, etc...I guess you can say I passed the test. A few DMs later and exchange of phone numbers and here we are. And you never would have known we have been at some of the same parties and clubs within arms reach from each other and never interacted. Well they say timing is everything!

We were in Dallas for Brittney's family reunion and she had no idea that I had been planning this for a while now and both of our families were involved and aware. She had no idea what was going on and thought I was planning to propose in June because we were planning a family game night but oh she was wrong! We were going to brunch (or so she thought) at her Brother’s In Law’s home before heading back to San Antonio. I took Tristan inside while she gathered her stuff and her Brother stalled while we prepared inside for the proposal. As she gets to the door she is greeting by Gigi who begins to take her purse and you could see the confusion on her face based on the video as she wasn’t expecting to see our families. The music begins and I had everyone hand her a single red rose as I hid behind my Dad as he handed her the last rose. I could tell I got her good as I got down on one knee and she gladly said YES!!
