Matron of Honor
Some may say "wombmates" for life, Jessi is Alli's identical twin sister and the only person who has been there through legitimately everything. Birth, grade school, JMU, Spain - you name it - they have been there together and through it all, they have remained each other's number 1 friend, confidant, and supporter (sorry Lucas). When she's not teaching high schoolers how to speak Spanish, Jessi is coaching their high school alma mater's soccer team, exercising her artistic genius, or spending time with her sweet pup Duke.
Best Man
Kamran is William's best friend from elementary school and despite the height difference their friendship has withstood the test of time. Even though Kamran is all the way in Chicago, completing his dental degree, William and Kamran have stayed close and know that they will always have each other's backs no matter the distance. And the best part - William is looking forward to a lifetime of free teeth cleanings!
Maid of Honor
Emily is the little sister Alli never knew she needed! After going to rival high schools, Alli and Emily met at JMU as members of Sigma Sigma Sigma and became roommates during Alli's junior year. After years of college family dinners, nights at BackCountry and/or Billy Jacks, and countless laugh until you cry moments, Emily will be graduating with her Juror's Doctorate from the University of Richmond (boo Spiders) in May 2023 and pursuing her career as a lawyer in the 757!
Groomsman
Although their friendship started rocky (Jake and William hated each other before they were friends) Jake Anderson has become one of William's closest friends. Between adult league kickball, trading bets at the golf course, and all of the memories in between, Jake is one of those friends who just fits into any situation and creates a great time. You'll find him on the dance floor for most of the wedding - stay tuned for his big dance solo! Oh and he can also give you a great deal on paint when you need it!
Bridesmaid
Lindsey is 1/3 of the girl band/dance troupe that Jessi and Alli started in elementary school. Together, the three girls spent their early years selling "twist-ems" to their day care classmates, publishing the "Girly Gazette" or jamming to Avril Lavigne (Complicated, Sk8r Boy, you name it - we sang it), Lindsey became the big sister that we never had. Since graduating from UVA, she has taught high school in Chesapeake, VA, Kailua, HI. She now resides with her husband, Will, in the pits of despair that are also known as Blacksburg, VA, where she is pursuing yet another degree in education.
Groomsman
Ryen has been friends with William since sophomore year of high school and bonded over nightly intense games of Madden. They stayed close even after Ryen decided to become a "Raddy Daddy" and join Jake at Radford University. If you ever find yourself without something to do, you can always count on Ryen to be down for a good time! Green tea shots anyone?
Bridesmaid
When Maddie joined the Hickory Varsity soccer team, she was quickly welcomed to the team when she was nicely invited (read: had no choice) to sit with the upperclass team members at lunch. In the two years that they played together, Maddie and Alli became quite the goal scoring force, with Alli using her height for the high crosses and Maddie using her speed to get in behind the defense. Maddie now lives in Austin, TX, where she is pursuing her doctorate in occupational therapy, but that hasn't stopped them from making memories and having good times no matter what!
Groomsman
Growing up, Greg and William always had similar interests. From playing video games, backyard wiffle ball, throwing the ball in the house (sorry mom!) and their shared misery as Mets and Jets fans, they've had a lot of bonding experiences. You can always count on Greg for a good (or not so good) dad joke but hey, even Babe Ruth didn't bat 1,000!
Bridesmaid
When it comes to work BFFs, it doesn't get any better than Maggie Carney. Alli and Maggie started working together at Madison Connection their second semester at JMU. They eventually stepped into management roles together their junior year, and there's no exaggeration when we say that when it comes to managing college students who are making cold calls, there are is no shortage of management stressors to bond you for life! Since graduation, Maggie has lived in NYC, but is still and always will be one of Alli's go to gals for all things life related :)
Groomsman
The oldest of the Roukis siblings, Bradley and William didn't always have the same interests but he has always been there to share advice and speak the truth when William needed to hear it. While we don't get to see him as often as we'd like, Bradley's California dreamin' has us ready to make that cross country vacation and see what's so great about the state that he calls home!
Bridesmaid
Christina is the youngest Roukis sibling and Alli's newest sister! She has the same great taste as Alli, William, and the rest of the JMU crew (sorry Greg!), where she studied Secondary Education and is currently living her best life as a participant in the Disney College Program. Alli and Christina bond over all things The Bachelor, Say Yes to the Dress, and reality tv in general. She has one of the most impressive musical gifts you will ever hear and is always down for a good cup of coffee when you need one!
Groomsman
Jake is Alli's younger brother and over time has morphed from the annoying little brother into one of the best friends we could ask for. Between his love for cooking a tasty meal, his passion for economics (ask him about it - I dare you), and his heart of gold for the members of his family, Jake is truly a one of a kind brother and friend. Let's just hope that he keeps the TikTok dances to a minimum at the reception!
Mother of the Bride
Kim is a living, breathing example of the kind of woman, wife, mother, and person that Alli strives to be. Along with Craig, she has helped to build a family that is full of love and commitment - we would do anything for each other. She has touched countless lives throughout her career as a teacher and an administrator, but the biggest difference she has made has been right at home. Kim has taught her children to be loving, caring, strong, courageous, and to trust in God's plan because everything happens for a reason.
Father of the Bride
Crazy Craig, Craigy Eggy, Dr. Pinello - he's gone by many names in his lifetime but we are by far the luckiest to get to call him Dad. Craig spent the majority of his adult life dragging his kids around from soccer practice to games to band concerts and then doing it all over again the next day. As his kids have grown older, he has continued to show that love and commitment to his entire family, all while providing the perfect example of how a woman should be treated with the way that he treats Alli's mother. He will be giving her away on April 29, but he will always be Alli's first love.
Mother of the Groom
True to her New York roots, Melanie loves her family fiercely and is always there to lend a helping hand, cook a tasty meal, or be a listening ear. As a mom, she is a jack of all trades, always making the effort to take the kids to sports practices, help with homework, teach responsibility, and make sure that William and his siblings had everything they need to be successful. Between her willingness to always help and her surprising amount of sports knowledge, it's pretty easy to understand why William calls himself a momma's boy!
Father of the Groom
There's no doubt that William and Dean are cut from the same cloth. Both always laid back and go with the flow, they can spend hours just sitting together, watching sports (even an unseemly amount of golf playoff holes), and enjoying a nice rum and coke. The king of margarita making is always ready to drop a one liner, but similarly to Greg, you may have to sit through a few groaners before he finds one that lands!
