Is there a dress code?

-For Friday 6 February: Hawaiian Shirts and Tropical Vibes for the dinner by the beach. -For Saturday 7 February: Dreamy Pastels. We’d love for everyone to celebrate with us in soft pastel colors — fresh, light, and fun. Please NO dark outfits. It is bad luck in Thailand. 👗 Ladies: A nice dress in pastel tones (flowy, chic, or elegant — whatever makes you feel fabulous!). 🤵 Gentlemen: Pastel or light colored suit. No tie needed 👡 Footwear: Choose shoes suitable for a beach ceremony and lawn reception — wedges, block heels, strappy sandals, or flats for ladies; dress shoes or loafers for men.

What is essential before I fly?

Before traveling to Thailand, please make sure to: 1. Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) – All travelers must submit the TDAC online before arrival. It is free of charge. - Visit the official website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th - Fill in your passport, travel, accommodation, and health info. - Submit at least 3 days before arrival. - Keep the confirmation email handy for immigration (it is ok to show on your phone). 2. Download the Grab app – Handy for taxis, rides, and food delivery in Thailand. 3. Contact your phone company and get data roaming for Thailand or SE Asia. 4. If you do not want to get data roaming on your phone plan, purchase a SIM card at the airport. Please note, this might affect your iMessage usage.

How can I get around in Thailand?

Getting around is easy! You can use Grab (a ride-hailing app) for taxis, rides, and food delivery — it works all over Thailand and they accept international credit cards. For those who prefer a more traditional taxi service, Happy Taxi is a reliable option for short trips. Just call or book in advance — it’s convenient and safe. For more information or to book a ride, visit their website: https://www.thaihappytaxi.com We will also arrange a shuttle (van) from Bangkok to Hua Hin and back from Hua Hin to Bangkok: 6 February: Depart Bangkok around noon to Hua Hin. 8 February: Depart Hua Hin around noon back to Bangkok. If you prefer to take a personal car instead of the shuttle, please pre-book a Grab or Happy Taxi to ensure a smooth and timely journey.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

-Friday 6 February at 17:30 at the wedding venue -Saturday 7 February at 16:00 at the wedding venue -Saturday 7 February during the day is free for everyone to do whatever. However, you are all free to come and use the pool and beach as we have rented the whole resort out for the entire weekend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No need to worry about getting around: we’ll have a shuttle running to and from Charras Bhawan (the wedding venue), just 1 km away. You can mention that you are attending our wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Charras Bhawan, Khao Tao, Hua Hin has on-site parking. But we recommend leaving the driving behind so you can fully relax and enjoy the celebration! A shuttle service will be provided for guests staying at Best Western Plus Carapace Hotel until 1:00 AM. For all other recommended hotels on our website, no shuttle is needed — they’re just a short walk away from the venue. 🏖️💛
