Flight
There are two options for getting to Puebla. We recommend you use whatever is the cheapest and most comfortable for you. For both options, it is best to make sure you travel during the day to make the trip easier. - Flights may be cheaper to Mexico City - There are very comfortable buses (Estrella Roja) you can take from inside the airport to several spots in Puebla. Cost each way is about $8 USD and can be purchased online or in person at the desk in the airport. - The ride is about 2 hours, and as you go past the mountains between the state of Mexico and Puebla, you will get to see Puebla's two volcanoes. - Uber from the station to the hotel or your AirBnB.
Flight
- Fly directly to Puebla International Airport - Uber or taxi to your hotel or AirBnB. For those using Uber that are not from Mexico, you will notice rides will cost much less than you experience back home.
Hotel
House Or Rental
We recommend also looking at AirBnB's that are in the Historic Center. We ourselves have stayed at some of these before and would recommend looking at anything starting from the $30/night price.
