Comillas is a beautiful little town in the region of Cantabria in Northern Spain. This is home to Pierre’s mom’s family and it's where the Roeselers would spend every summer while they were growing up. To this day we all reunite annually in Comillas for a few blissful weeks to enjoy the summer! Beyond our personal connections to the town there exists a strong historical link to the Philippines as many residents of Comillas found work and built families in the Philippines during the Spanish era and the ties remain visible in Comillas with a restaurant in town even called Bar Filipinas! Why we are asking you all to come all the way to Comillas is to let all of you - our dearest family and friends - experience the old world charm and magic that it offers, taste for yourselves how ridiculously delicious the food is and be mesmerized by its breathtaking views: from the lush green mountains, the deep blue of the North atlantic and the architectural power that this little town boasts. We hope we’ve enticed you enough to come to Comillas and join our celebration, as getting there is a journey especially for those travelling from Asia! Rest assured the hours spent in transit are worth it!
