Carlsbad State Beach

Southern Californias wine country with tons of options and one of the biggest casinos, Pechanga.

Temecula

Our recommendation over the regular San Diego Zoo (downtown). This one tends to be less crowded but still lots of amazing animals to see.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

A quaint beach town with oodles of shops and restaurants. Head down to the cove to see some seals sun bathing and, if it's warm enough, hop on some kayaks for an ocean tour.

La Jolla

If you've got kids in tow, we've heard this place is a good time.

LEGOLAND California

If you're up for a good, challenging hike this is the place to go. Get there early on the weekends because it's one of the most popular in the area.

Potato Chip Rock

Golf the famous 9 or 18 holes, hike along the trails, visit the nudest beach or stop by the glider port to watch the air show.

Torrey Pines State Reserve

If this is your first time to San Diego, Coronado Island and the famous hotel are huge staples here.
