Welcome to our website! We’re getting married!!

We orignally 'met' online in a Facebook group for incoming freshmen at school. Because of the pandemic, we weren't allowed to go to campus and have most of the traditional incoming freshman activities. We were both in the Honors group and started chatting online in the coming months before our move-in times. In our first few days of living on campus, I avoided Lucas like the plague (for no reason other than nervousness) until he finally 'cornered' me at our first honors event on campus. We started hanging out with one another almost daily, and something clicked. It felt like we had known each other for much longer than the few weeks/months we had been friends. A few weeks into school, my father passed away, and Lucas and my roommate drove 4+ hours in the middle of the night to come support me. It was from then on that I knew he would be in my life forever. He asked me out a few months into our freshman year, and the rest is history.
