Things To Do

Here are just a few of our favorite spots around the island.
Big Kahuna's Pizza

Big Kahuna's Pizza

550 Paiea Street, Honolulu, HI 96819
, (808) 833-5588

Since Pierce's favorite food is pizza we had to recommend our favorite pizza place on the island. Don't forget to order some of their cheese balls.

Lanikai Beach

Lanikai Beach

Kailua, HI 96734
, (808) 261-2727

Hawaii is known for its white sand beaches and clear blue waters. Just a few minutes outside of the Marine Corp Base Hawaii, this beach is a must-see.

Waimea Bay and Falls

Waimea Bay and Falls

61-31 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa, HI 96712

Hawaii's North Shore is home to some of the world's most spectacular waves during the Winter. In the Spring it can capture some of the most breathtaking views.

Diamond Head

Diamond Head

Honolulu, HI 96815

An iconic Hawaii hike, but an even more monumental location in our history. One of the best memories of our childhood together was doing this hike as a Sunday School class.

Laniakea Beach

Laniakea Beach

North Shore, HI 96712

Well known as "turtle beach". It's one of the best spots on the island to be guaranteed a turtle spotting.

Shark’s Cove

Shark’s Cove

Haleiwa, HI 96712
, (808) 462-8290

Don't let the name scare you. It's a great snorkeling spot located just past Haleiwa Town.

Haleiwa

Haleiwa

Haleiwa, HI 96712

A famous surf town located on Oahu's North Shore. Don't forget to stop at Matsumoto's for Shave Ice and Giovanni's Shrimp Truck for some of the best shrimp on the island. We promise the long lines are absolutely worth the wait.

Moena Cafe

Moena Cafe

Kalanianaʻole Highway, Honolulu, HI 96825
, (808) 888-7716

Excellent breakfast spot and the location of our first date. You have to try their chantilly pancakes!

Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail

Waimanalo, HI 96795
, (808) 587-0300

A simple, paved hike with a breathtaking view. Don't forget to pack lots of water and a hat.

Mermaid Caves

Mermaid Caves

89-410 Keaulana Avenue, Waianae, HI 96792

On the west side of the island, this beautiful beach turns into a serene cave.

Pali Lookout

Pali Lookout

Nuuanu Pali Drive, Kaneohe, HI 96744
, (800) 464-2924

One of the most well-know lookout points on the island. And for those who are more adventurous the Pali Notches hike is hidden at this lookout. But be warned we do not recommend this hike unless you are an experienced climber.

Lanikai Pillbox

Lanikai Pillbox

Kailua, HI 96734
, (808) 587-0400

One of the many trails created from one of the many former World War II bunkers, you can't miss the sunrise from this peak.

Kuliouou Ridge Trail

Kuliouou Ridge Trail

Hahaione Street, Honolulu, HI

Kim's favorite hike on the island, with stunning views at multiple points throughout the trail and a variety of terrain. Be sure to wear something you aren't afraid to get muddy in.

Dole Plantation

Dole Plantation

North Shore, HI 96786

With a variety of activities, from train rides to a pineapple maze, everyone can find something fun. Don't forget to try one of Pierce and Kim's favorite treats, Dole Whip.

Paalaa Kai Bakery

Paalaa Kai Bakery

66-935 Kaukonahua Road, Waialua, HI 96791
, (808) 637-9795

Neither Pierce or Kim know how to pronounce this bakery's name, but their snow puffies are well worth the drive out to the North Shore.

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach

Pupukea, HI 96712

One of the most iconic beaches in the world. For those of you who haven't been to Hawaii, we promise you haven't seen a sunset quite like this.
