Can I Bring A Guest?

Answer

If your guest name is listed in your RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. 🤍

We respectfully request that this be an adult-only celebration.

Is there a dress code?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for the evening. Please refrain from wearing white. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗷𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! We have a preferred discounted rate at the Hotel at Kirkwood. Please visit our "Travel" page for booking details. The hotel is accepting reservations now and availability is limited. Please book as soon as possible if you are interested in staying at the Hotel at Kirkwood.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Arriving to the venue 20 minutes early is a great idea to be sure you are able to find the venue, get parking and settle in before it begins. Please note, anyone past 4pm will be requested to stand aside during the processional.

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Midnight Gem in Swisher, IA.

Are there shuttles available to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! If you book at The Hotel at Kirkwood there will be complimentary shuttles to and from The Midnight Gem. Pick-up times to be confirmed and shared at a later date.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 15th, 2026 using the QR code on your formal invitation, or by clicking the RSVP tap in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, then we will assume you are unable to attend.
