02.25.2016 We met that old school kind of way --swiping right on Tinder! After chatting on the app a few weeks it was time to meet. We realized quickly we had a lot in common, most importantly our sense of humor and love for funny movies. Our first date was full of good beer and lots of laughs. Steph admitted she was a terrible cook and Brett admitted he had a Ninja Turtles collection - and neither of us ran away!! Our unique attributes were endearing to each other, and only led to us wanting to spend more time together. From brewery dates to bike rides, to comedy shows and Badger games, our connection grew stronger. Six months turned into six years; a beautiful home and two kitties later, and we could not be happier!

Brett popped the question on April 30, 2021. Steph was nearly asleep on the couch when to her surprise their kitty Farley entered the room wearing a bright orange bow tie. Steph noticed something sparkly on the bow tie, but thought it couldn't be a ring - its so soon, we've only been together 5 years (hehe). That sparkly thing was in fact a ring and Brett was down on one knee. After tears of joy and many 'are you serious' remarks - Steph excitedly said YESS!
