How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Alex & Emily 

One day in 2016, Alex was scrolling through Insta when he saw a photo of his friend Sarah and her Sorority "Big" Sister dressed up. Alex, with no real plan in mind, texted Sarah: "Your Big is a babe". Sarah, being the matchmaker that she is, (virtually) introduced Alex to her Big, Emily. 

Over the next several months, they got to know each other. Texts turned into phone calls and eventually graduated to FaceTime. 

In 2017, they FINALLY got the chance to meet. Alex drove from Orlando to Tampa to see Emily's one eye with his own two. Alex confirmed Emily was in fact a real person, not a Catfish (IYKYK), and they have been together ever since.

Alex left LA around the time Emily graduated from USF. So, they traded LA and Tampa for Orlando and Coral Springs. After Alex got hired with the Fire Department, the decision was made to MOVE IN TOGETHER in 2020. 18 months later, on a trip to NYC, Alex proposed. Next up: Making it official in Tampa... back where it all began.
