Our Story

We met on the very first day of high school in August 2015. Rocky was new to the district and luckily sat down next to me in French class! We became close friends, and I remember my grandmother predicting right away that we would end up together because of that strong friendship. She was right, and a couple of years later, we started dating after Rocky asked me to prom! We stayed together through our years at UNC–Chapel Hill, living in side-by-side apartments with our friends. After college graduation came even more firsts: buying our first home, adopting our wonderful puppy Maple, and eventually, engagement! Over the years, we’ve been each other’s date for everything—prom, sorority events, college formals, and friends’ weddings. After getting dressed up together so many times, it feels just right that the next big event is finally our own. We’re so grateful to our family and friends for joining us on this special day!
