WHAT IS A REAL ID?

This link will tell you everything you need to know about the Real ID situation that goes into effect on May 7th, 2025! https://www.dhs.gov/real-id We would hate for anyone to be trapped at an airport due to a mix up, so please plan ahead!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We are having to be very selective on our guest list, as weddings are expensive! Due to an already limited guest list, if their name is not on the invite, it's a no.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We are asking for this to be an adults (and some teens) only wedding. So parents, please take the night off so you can fully enjoy yourselves!

What kind of food will you have?
Answer
We are having BBQ catering at our wedding! No need to pick options, as you will have all available to you at the buffet!

What about the bar?
Answer
We will have the bar available for all! There is a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Please remember to bring cash to tip your bartenders as there is definitely not an ATM close by.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
We are being sure to have options for all, as we do have many guests who are vegan, gluten-free, etc. There will be something for everyone!

Can I give you something not on your registry?
Answer
Although we very much appreciate the thought, we simply do not need more "stuff". If you are not comfortable with a monetary donation or any options given on our registry, you are not required to get us anything! We're just happy you'll be here :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! When you pull into the driveway, there will be staff guiding you to the parking area.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
You need to get yourself from wherever you are staying, to the wedding. The ceremony and reception will be taking place on the same property so no need to travel part way through the day :)

Is there a dress code?
Answer
IT IS A WEDDING NOT A COSTUME PARTY...Please do not make our wedding photos look like we are at ren-faire..*cough cough* DAD...Cocktail/Semi Formal/Garden Party! Wear what you will be comfortable in that is not a t-shirt and jeans or shorts please. Remember you will be outside at various points. So bring layers in case there's a breeze and comfortable shoes you can dance all night in!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
3:30pm at the latest! That means in your seats and the music is playing and people are walking down the isle at 3:45pm. So PLEASE arrive with enough time to park your car, and walk to the ceremony space, this way you'll have ample time to get settled.

What do you think the weather will be like?
Answer
Weather in New York in May is entirely unpredictable! It could rain, it could be hot, it could be cold, it could be the most perfect weather ever. Bring options so you don't get uncomfortable! Inside the castle is temperature controlled so no worries there but definitely have a jacket/possibly an umbrella for outdoors.
