Let us just say it was NOT love at first sight. Us two were on opposite ends of the high school spectrum. Kate: I took every AP class, studied hard, and made myself sick with stress Evan: I skated to class barefoot and had a great time But choir and theatre was our common ground, and eventually where we became incredibly great friends

We took the leap of love after being best friends for a few years!

Yes. We looked at our families and said "hey we've been dating for a little over a year, so now we are going to go pursue our dreams of theatre all the way across the country together at 18 years old." No wonder people thought we were nuts...and we were/are.

About to hit our 7 year Anniversary, Evan shocked the hell out of Kate by proposing to her in front of the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. The place she had mentioned was her dream proposal spot to Evan back in choir, before they were even dating!
