Is there a dress code?

Formal attire. Preferred ensembles include dark suits, floor-length dresses or formal Burmese or other cultural attire. Cocktail attire, casual wear and white dresses are not recommended. All events will be held indoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 5:30 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:45 PM.

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. While there may be additional gatherings throughout the weekend, all relevant details will be shared directly with the guests involved. If you are traveling from out of town, it is advisable to arrive by Friday afternoon and staying through Sunday to enjoy the full experience.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

No. The negotiated rate hotels are walking distance or short ride away from the venue -- 8 minutes walking from the Hyatt Regency and 10 minutes walking from the Allegro Sonesta. For local guests, it is recommended to take public transportation or Uber/Lyft as parking in the city is uncertain and can be expensive.
