Flight
There are three major international airports in Vietnam, located in Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Hanoi (HAN), and Da Nang (DAD). Da Nang is located in central Vietnam, while Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are in the north and south of the country respectively. Domestic flights are readily available between these major airports. Flight times between Da Nang and either city are about 1 hour in duration. Our friends and family from the United States may book direct through Eva Air, Korean Air, and All Nippon Airways. Whatever your path, make sure to apply for an electronic Visa at the official website (see Vietnam Visa for more info).

This is where we'll be having our wedding ceremony, we recommend all our international guests consider staying here. Located between Đà Nẵng and Hội An, this beachfront resort is conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from the international airport, well-situated for excursions to both cities. To obtain a discounted room rate, please email reservations@namanretreat.com with the email title "Phuong & Kyle Wedding March 11". Include guest names, check-in check-out dates, number of nights, and room types. The resort will reply with the detailed instructions to get the wedding guest room rate.
Travel Note
Visa can be obtained through this link. The visa should cost $25. We recommend applying a month in advance of your trip. Check out the following YouTube clip for more information about the visa application process. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_YiM3S69XY&t=247s]
Travel Note
We recommend all international guests download the ride-share app Grab for local travel. This is the local equivalent to Uber. Cash is the preferred method of payment; the app will confirm the correct amount to pay. Shuttle services may be available through hotels. Other services may be available from other vendors, but please make sure to do your own research.
Rental Car
Mopeds are the preferred mode of transport for the Vietnamese. This being said, do not rent a moped unless you are an experienced traveler in Southeast Asia.
