We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you! If you’re planning to make a weekend out of your visit, there are plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the property. The Summit offers a wide variety of experiences for all ages, including ziplining, rock climbing, skateboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, shooting sports, hiking, and biking trails. If you are interested in booking activities during your stay, please use the code hershbergersnufferwedding when making your reservation. The 2027 activities calendar will be released in April 2027. Please note that all activities must be booked at least two weeks prior to the activity date. Below, you’ll find more detailed information about some of the activities you and your family may enjoy during your stay!

Shooting Sports

Equipped with some of the best names in shooting like Savage, Remington, Sig Sauer, Promatic Throwers, and Action Targets, The Summit is one of the largest shooting sports venues in the country by total number of shooting opportunities, including: 88 sporting clays stations on over 120 acres, 50 trap decks, 5 five-stand structures with a combined 25 individual stations, 60 rifle stations between 2 covered ranges, 20 pistol stations, and 5 reactive steel ranges. There is also a virtual shooting range at the Crafton Skills Center that offers a 12 Bay virtual shooting gallery where you can sharpen your skills.

Aerial Sports

With 90 acres of canopy tours, including 48 mini ziplines, 8 skill stations, and 3 main 5-line zipline structures, including the "Big Zip," a massive 3,300-foot multi-line zipline, The Summit is #1 in the nation for total overall distance, with an impressive 28,750 feet, which equates to 5.45 miles.

Hiking Trails

With approximately 48 miles of pedestrian walkways and trails, it's easy to find an adventure that's right for you, ranging from relaxing to strenuous. There are thousands of acres to explore.

Water Sports & Fishing

The Summit is home to four lakes that are situated in and around the basecamps and Summit Center. The lakes are a great place to paddleboard, kayak, or take part in the "Water Reality" inflatable obstacle course during the summer months. The lakes are bountiful with multiple species of fish. Catch and release fishing is a great way to relax!

Rock Climbing

The Summit has an impressive collection of climbing opportunities, including: The Rocks: 35-foot artificial rock walls with 271 stations for climbing, bouldering, and rappelling, as well as instructional areas Boulder Cove: 40 climbing and rappelling stations, along with 10 bouldering stations

Action Sports

The Summit is home to one of the largest outdoor skate parks and BMX facilities in the country.

Multi Use Trails

With approximately 135 miles of trails on the property, you can ride through the mud, over rock logs, and other natural elements. Each backcountry trail is a unique experience, along with miles of purpose-built, multi-use trails. The Summit is a Polaris OHV training center of excellence.
