FAQs

If you have any questions about our wedding day, they can most likely be answered below! If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. Dresses, skirts, khakis, dress pants, button-down shirts, and similar attire are all perfectly appropriate. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans. Due to the location and state we live in, we also recommend checking the weather prior to the wedding day and dressing accordingly!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be indicated on your official invitation. For families, you will be able to RSVP for everyone indicated under the RSVP tab once formal invitations are sent.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be an unplugged event. Please silence and put away all phones, cameras, and electronic devices during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. We have an amazing photographer capturing the day, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you afterward! Once speeches and dances have concluded at the reception, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like. We would love to see and share in those memories with you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by April 25, 2027, so we can finalize seating, catering, and accommodations. You may RSVP at any time through the RSVP tab on our website, which will become available once formal invitations are sent. If we do not receive your response by this date, we will unfortunately have to mark your invitation as declined. We hope to see you soon!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate our special day with you, we completely understand that life happens. If you are unable to attend, you may RSVP as “declined” through our website. If you have already RSVP’d “yes” but are later unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we kindly ask that you reach out and let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Is there transportation available?

Answer

Yes! If you are staying on-site, a shuttle will be available to transport guests between the hotel and venue for your convenience. We kindly ask that guests lodging on the property utilize the shuttle service and park their vehicles at the hotel.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that children only attend if specifically included on the official invitation. If your children will be joining us, we respectfully ask that they remain supervised throughout the ceremony and reception so that all guests can safely enjoy the celebration.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking, transportation, and finding your seat.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, while the reception will be held indoors. In the event of inclement weather, a covering will be provided for the ceremony area if needed. Once again, we recommend checking the weather prior to the wedding day and dressing accordingly for outdoor conditions.

Question

How do I book activities at The Summit?

Answer

Guests can use the code “hershbergersnufferwedding” when booking activities. The 2027 activity calendar will be released in April 2027, and activities must be booked at least two weeks in advance. You can research and book through their website.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! A cash bar will be available throughout the reception, and guests are welcome to open a tab if desired. Nonalcoholic beverage options will also be available.
