Will I need a visa to travel to Uganda?

Answer

Yes. Please find visa application here: https://visas.immigration.go.ug/ The application fee is $50 USD. To apply for the Tourist Visa, you will need the following documentation: two (2) passport photos, valid copy of passport bio-data page, proof of yellow fever vaccine, proof of return ticket.

How much should I expect to pay for a yellow fever vaccine?

Answer

Expect to pay $300 - $400 for a new yellow fever vaccine.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Many of the guests have found great deals on www.booking.com. Choose to stay in "Entebbe" or "Munyoyo." You can also choose to stay at the resort on which we will have the ceremony. Find the website here: https://www.spekeresort.com/

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Please plan to be seated between 4:00 - 4:15pm. Cocktail hour will start immediately after the ceremony. Dinner seating will begin at 6:30pm with dinner being served at 7:00pm. Reception to follow dinner and end at 12am.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The couple asks guests to come IN COLOR - traditional Pakistani or African wear; alternatively, please wear bright colors (pink, orange, yellow, green, blue) with the exception of red.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Not at this time. We suggest taking an Uber to the resort as Saturday is a popular day for weddings at the property and parking will be difficult.
