Question

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

All guests are encouraged to be in their seats by 3:45PM at the latest. The wedding will start promptly at 4PM. A cocktail hour will take place from 4:30-5:30 with dinner to follow. The reception will end at 10PM with a short send off following immediately.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on the property of Scenic Sites Venue. The cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors promptly following the ceremony.

What hotels are close by the venue?

Answer

While we encourage our guests to book a room under our wedding reservation at the Comfort Inn & Suites, there are several other hotels available nearby at the Highlands Complex in Triadelphia, WV.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle service will be provided by the Comfort Inn & Suites. While it will not run consistently back and forth, there will be a scheduled time for pick up and drop offs. More information to come on this. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to call or text Carly or David.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All guests are kindly asked to RSVP no later than October 5th.

What should we expect for food and drinks?

Answer

The reception dinner will be served buffet style. You can expect a protein and pasta with sides of a vegetable and starch. We apologize in advance, vegetarian/GF options not available. Both soft drinks and alcohol will be provided on us! While we will have signature cocktails, wine, and beer selections available, guests are also welcome to BYOB.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP through the RSVP tab on our website, it will indicate if you have a plus one by saying "Guest". We kindly ask that if you do not have a plus one, please do not bring any additional guests as we have limited space available at the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We do not have a formal dress code, but cocktail attire is encouraged!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there is a decent amount of parking at the Scenic Sites Venue, it does have a capacity that could potentially be reached. We highly encourage all of our out-of-town guests to catch the shuttle service at the Comfort Inn & Suites and that our local guests carpool where they can. The shuttle service is open to Phillips Wedding guests only, not to the public.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Only children of Carly and David's family members are invited to attend the wedding as we're limited on space at the venue. We thank you for understanding!
