Tennyson Street
Fun place to visit for good food, drinks, and shopping! A few of our frequently visited spots - Berkley Inn, Hey Kiddo, My Boy Tony, Bakery Four & Call Your Mother.
Chautauqua Park
Chautauqua Park located in Boulder is a stunning view, with an optional hike for those interested. Conveniently located close to Pearl street where there are tons of bars, food and shopping. Also near CU Boulder (skoooo buffs) if interested in walking the campus to see where Phil and Olivia first met :) A few fun spots are The Sink, Bohemian Biergarten, Avanti, Postino & The Downer (iykyk).
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is beautiful! Must visit for those who have never been to Colorado. You can either do a light hike around the park, or look on Red Rocks' website to see if there is anything you are interested in attending - concerts, shows, morning yoga, etc.
Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park has over 350 miles of hiking trails featuring forests, meadows, alpine tundra, and mountain lakes! The park is roughly 1.5 hours from Denver but if you are planning on visiting Colorado beyond the weekend, we highly recommend taking a day trip!
Platt Park
South Pearl Street is home for some of our favorite restaurants and shops. If you are in the mood for great sushi - we love Izakaya Den! There are plenty of shops, breweries, bars and restaurants.
South Broadway
We used to live on South Broadway and loved going to BurnDown, Joy Hill, Adrift, & The Fainting Goat. Tons of local shops and dive bars!
Highland
We love Highlands area in Denver!! Great food like Kawa Ni (our absolute favorite), El Five, Alma Fonda Fina, Mister Oso & Tavernetta! Fun bar spots include Recess Beer Garden, Forest Room 5, Hello Darling, Williams & Graham and Room For Milly.
Downtown Cherry Creek
Downtown Cherry Creek is where our Welcome Party will be. The area is filled with shopping and restaurants. If you are looking for food recommendations, we suggest Hillstone (one of our favorites), North Italia, Narrative and Matsuhisa. Some fun drinks spots are Forget Me Not, Bar Amorina, and Local Jones. If you are in need of last minute shopping, Cherry Creek Mall is very close by.
