Matron of Honor
Audrey is Karen's youngest older sister. From the time they were babies, they have been great companions! From the many hours of running their imaginary business, The Sunshine Restaurant, and playing basketball on the driveway, to chatting long-distance about all of life's happenings, Audrey has always been a great role model for Karen. Many people think of Karen as a a lover of games. Fun Fact: Audrey is an EVEN BIGGER game lover! Due to the many hours of shared gaming (and we mean board games here) and living, it is pretty much not fair that they play Catch Phrase, Charades, or most anything as teammates. Audrey is one of the kindest, most genuine people you will meet. And get this, she and her husband Isaac live in Pasco, WA and just had their first baby in October!
Matron of Honor
Claire is Karen's older sister, and the middle child of the family. One of Karen's first memories as a youngster is Claire teaching her the months of the year in the big red Suburban on their family road trip to California. Talk about good times! Claire and Karen have bonded over many hobbies including baking, eating chocolate, visiting local coffee and ice cream shops, traveling, and more! Claire is one of the most caring and thoughtful people, and she is always supportive. Karen is thrilled that she and her husband Scotty live in St. Charles. This allows Karen to bother them, eat with them, and have spontaneous game nights! Fun Fact: If you're looking for an amateur photographer, Claire takes fantastic photos....with her phone! Most are of baked goods, but they are always beautiful!
Best Man
Wyatt and Phillip met at a hospital and somehow managed to survive their childhood without sending each other back to one! Growing up, the brothers were always each other's #1 playmate, from enduring one-on-one wiffle ball games to 100 in the backyard and filming LEGO movies to celebrating new Beanie Baby initiation ceremonies and attempting fruitlessly to beat the 13th level of their Tarzan computer game. They can basically hold an entire conversation with Spongebob quotes, and a CatchPhrase game of Karen & Audrey vs. Phillip & Wyatt would truly be something to behold (actually, that needs to happen!). Phillip looks up to his taller younger brother, and he so admires his sincerity, compassion, and general wackiness. Wyatt lives in Milwaukee and is engaged to his fiancée, Sheila!
Groomsman
Eric was a captain of the St. Olaf men's cross country team when Phillip arrived as a freshman, and their shared vision for the team brought them together. Eric also enjoyed [exploited] the fact that he could merely say the word "tickle" and send Phillip into a high-pitched giggling fit. Their friendship continued to grow over the years through conversations about faith and Key & Peele videos, and when Phillip became Catholic in 2017, Eric drove to Colorado to be his Confirmation sponsor. Phillip has always appreciated Eric's strong faith, honesty, integrity, and sense of humor. Eric is an English teacher and lives with his wife, Catherine, in Rochester, MN. He co-hosts the Passing Currents Podcast and coached his high school boys' track team to a state championship this past spring!
