We plan to spend as much time outside as possible! Our Friday night welcome reception, Saturday ceremony, and cocktail hour will be outside. Our Saturday reception will be under a tent. All events will take place on either cobblestone, brick or hardwood with the exception of the ceremony where seating will be on grass.
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. We hope this will be an opportunity for parents to unwind and let loose a bit.
We strongly recommend getting a rental car since Uber/Lyft are not readily available. This will allow you to easily explore the area and enjoy what Maine has to offer. All of our wedding festivities will be held at French's Point.
Fingers crossed it will be mid-70s and sunny! June is a beautiful month in Maine and typically dry/fairly low humidity. Average high temperatures range from 68°F to 76°F (rarely exceeding 80-85°F) and average low can reach 50°F especially in the evening. Ladies, please bring a shawl or light jacket for nighttime use as needed! We recommend bringing one for the welcome reception and wedding reception.
Whatever makes you feel fabulous … within the confines of this dress code: For our Welcome Reception, please join us in dressing up for the occasion. Ladies, please break out your cocktail dresses and gentlemen, please wear nice dress pants and a button down, or a blazer or suit without a tie. Our Wedding Day dress code is formal attire. We want our guests to immerse themselves and feel their best, so we encourage everyone to get out that gown or suit you've been wanting to wear! Tuxedos are welcome but not required. Our Sunday farewell brunch will be casual so please wear what you are most comfortable in.
There will not be! Guests are either staying on-site at French's Point or very close to the venue at one of the rental homes.
There is ample parking for our guests at French's Point. We have arranged guests accommodations that are very close to our venue so walking will be an option as well.
