Waterton Canyon Trailhead
Good chance of seeing big horned sheep on this hike (also deer and bear have been seen here). It's an out and back on a service road, up to 10 miles round trip but you can cut it short and still see some good stuff.
Farm House at Breckenridge Brewery
Brewery with great food and great outdoor space. Near Amanda's favorite running path along the S. Platte River.
Denver Union Station
Showing some train love. This union station has been revamped recently and has a great bar in the old Amtrak ticket window, shuffle board, transit connections to the airport and around town, good shopping and great ambiance.
Mary Carter Greenway Trail
Great route from Bowles south for running/biking/dog walking along the S. Platte River. We've done a lot of miles on this trail getting ready for the two half marathons we did together. We usually park at the LIttleton Golf and Tennis Club (behind the tennis bubble) and recommend heading south from there. Also St. Patrick's Brewery and Nixon's Cafe are good stops along the trail.
Mount Evans Scenic Byway
If we've timed it just right, fall colors should be starting and the road to the top of Mt. Evans should still be open. It'll take some time but its a beautiful drive to the top of Mt. Evans, one of Colorado's 14ers (Peaks over 14,000 elevation). We've done four of these peaks and Evans is easy because you can drive 98% of the way to the top. Sometimes the top of the road is closed due to weather, so check ahead.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Not sure of the concert schedule on our wedding weekend. We've seen several concerts here. It's by far the best concert venue we've been to. Also great spot to check out views of the city, music memorabilia, and/or run up and down the stairs like all the fit Denverites at altitude.

Walking distance to the hotels, great food and brews!
Smokin Fins Restaurant
Hands down our favorite place to eat. Order the Smokin Gun to sip on. We usually get oysters, sushi and split a big rib eye steak. Little bit of everything at this place to make everyone happy.
Earth Treks Englewood
Claims to be the largest climbing gym in the country located in the former Sports Authority headquarters.
Colorado Clays LLC
Friday Sep 6, Join Amanda and Mike as they ring in the celebrations with a blast! Last time Amanda took a big W over Mike, can she keep the winning streak alive? This is a ton of fun like mini golf, but with shotguns. Don't forget your PPE. Doors open at 9am, anticipate shooting to start at 9:30 open to all!
Give Opal and Altas some Pets
Opal and Altas really love pets from everyone and Opal especially will miss being the center of attention this weekend so she could use some love
Coors Brewery Tour
Free tour and free beer, on every Colorado tourist's must do list. Coors beer actually tastes good at this location.
Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort
If you'd like to extend your Colorado vacation this is a great spot. We've stayed here many times to enjoy the hot springs and the Colorado mountains.
Garden of the Gods
Beautiful and free park that will be sure to impress. If you are feeling adventurous, the drive to the top of Pikes Peak (another 14er) is nearby.
