Traveling to Raitenhaslach

The Munich airport (MUC) is a roughly 90-minute drive from Raitenhaslach and offers direct flights from and to most U.S. cities. The Salzburg airport (SZG) in Austria is a little closer (1hr) but offers limited international connections. While you could take the train to a nearby town and get to Raitenhaslach by cab, we strongly encourage travelling by car. We are arranging transportation by shuttle directly from and to the Munich airport on Friday and Sunday, more information below. Alternatively, you could rent a car or share a cab (expect EUR 300 for a one-way cab ride). Uber/Lyft is available in Munich but does NOT cover the Raitenhaslach area. There are a few taxi operators in the towns surrounding Raitenhaslach who will drive you to a neighboring town if you want to venture out. The venue address is: Raitenhaslach 9, 84489 Burghausen. ----- Von Regensburg aus ist Raitenhaslach in knapp unter zwei Stunden mit dem Auto erreichbar, von München aus in unter 90 Minuten. Wir werden am Freitag und Sonntag Shuttles von und zum Münchner Flughafen anbieten. Für unsere Gäste aus Deutschland ist die Anreise mit (Miet-)Auto wohl am besten, da Raitenhaslach nicht gut mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr erreichbar ist.

On Friday, May 21st, and Sunday, May 22nd, shuttles are available to drive you from the Munich airport directly to the hotels in and around Raitenhaslach. Please let us know if you plan on taking a shuttle ride, as we have to adjust its size by number of passengers! ----- Am Freitag (21.05.) vor der Hochzeit und Sonntag danach (23.05.) werden Shuttlebusse zwischen dem Münchner Flughafen und den Hotels in und um Raitenhaslach fahren. Bitte informiert uns, wenn Ihr plant bei einem Shuttle mitzufahren, da wir die Größe nach Passagieranzahl anpassen. We'll be running shuttles to the venue, from the main hotels on the day of the wedding. If you'd like to ride in one of those shuttles, please make sure to let us know, as we have to adjust their sizes by number of passengers. ---- Am Tag der Hochzeit werden Shuttles zwischen den Hotels und dem Trauungsort fahren. This is where the wedding will be hosted! They have all 24 rooms blocked under "Schneider Hochzeit". All of the day events will be hosted here, so no need for any transport. Formerly a Cistercian monastery founded in 1146, it has been preserved to now host a hotel, restaurant and church grounds. The interior is considered one of the most magnificent baroque buildings in southern Germany. The church was transformed from a Romanesque pillar basilica into a vibrant baroque pillar church in the mid-18th century to mark the 600th anniversary of the Cistercian order. ----- Hier findet die Hochzeit statt! Alle 24 Zimmer wurden unter dem Namen „Schneider Hochzeit“ reserviert. Alle Veranstaltungen des Tages finden hier statt, sodass kein Transport erforderlich ist. Das ehemalige Zisterzienserkloster, das 1146 gegründet wurde, ist erhalten geblieben und beherbergt heute ein Hotel, ein Restaurant und eine Kirche. Das Innere gilt als eines der prächtigsten Barockgebäude in Süddeutschland. Die Kirche wurde Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts anlässlich des 600-jährigen Jubiläums des Zisterzienserordens von einer romanischen Säulenbasilika in eine prächtige Barocksäulenkirche umgebaut.
