The AC Hotel is centrally located in Downtown. It is a five minute walk from our ceremony at Fountain Street Church and a ten minute walk from our reception at the Public Museum. Gerald R. Ford International Airport

Gerald R. Ford International Airport is the easiest way to get to Grand Rapids. It's a twenty minute drive from Downtown. Note that there are direct flights to Grand Rapids from Philadelphia, New York and many other cities.

Travel Note

I'm flying in. Do I need to rent a car?

If you stay in the hotel and only need to travel to the ceremony, reception venue, and other downtown locations, then you probably do not need to rent a car. You can catch a taxi or Uber from the airport and then walk between downtown destinations (which are all within a 15 minute walk of each other). However, if you plan to attend the after party in Kalamazoo (one hour away from Grand Rapids), or if you want to go to the beach or explore outside the immediate downtown area, then you will need access to a vehicle.
