Question

What steps are you taking to protect guests from COVID-19?

Answer

All guests over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated by two weeks prior to the event in order to attend and all vendors except for the wedding band will wear masks. We have been informed that the members of the band are vaccinated. Please note, Fountain Street Church requires all guests to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Our reception space is large and well ventilated, but tables will need to be close together due to the shape of the space. This is why we have decided to require vaccinations. We will email guests about a week prior to the wedding with updates.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You may bring a date if we indicated a +1 on your invitation.

Question

How should I get to the ceremony and reception? Is there parking available?

Answer

It will be very easy to walk or Uber to the ceremony and reception. However, driving is also an option and there is parking available. CEREMONY: There are several parking ramps right near Fountain Street Church. One is on the corner of Division and Library. There is a larger ramp on the corner of Ransom Ave and Fountain St. There is also some street parking close by. RECEPTION: There is a parking ramp across the street from the entrance to the Grand Rapids Public Museum.

Question

How should I dress?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception, formal or cocktail attire. The farewell party in Kalamazoo will be casual. The weather in Grand Rapids is often very pleasant in late September. However, it is also unpredictable so check the weather before your departure and pack accordingly.
