T, TT, Tashie, Birdie, JellyBean...terms of endearment for one of the most important people in my life. Oh, sweet and beautiful Tasha, it’s so very hard to find the words to describe the incredible soul that you are! We’ve spent so much time together sharing in everything from working out the tedium of life to joy-filled, spirit-lifting laughter. You are more than my friend, you are family. Someone once said, “Be somebody that makes everybody feel like somebody.” You do that better than anyone I know. And we are all better people for just knowing you. Congratulations on finding your one. I hope all your dreams come true!

Latasha and I have been friends long enough I almost can’t remember a time before we weren’t. She has been a true friend and sister through thick and thin. We’ve had the best laughs and craziest times. We have fought like only sisters can and encouraged each other like only sisters do. We have prayed together, fasted together, lived together, and simply done life together. She watched me meet the love of my life and start a family, now I’m beyond excited to see this part of her story unfold too! She deserves every dreamy fairytale ending and the most wonderful fairy tale wedding to start it off! I’m so honored to get to stand by her on that day!

I think that one of the greatest testimonies of our lives is when you meet someone and you see Jesus. You don’t see their brokenness, heartache or past trials - you see their joy, their love, and their heart that they get from their overflowing love for God. This couldn’t describe Latasha more! It’s impossible to see Latasha without seeing Jesus! I really got to know Latasha through a passion project and hearing what all God has brought her through and seeing just how big her heart is, made me realize how she truly is one of a kind and is someone I can’t imagine my life without! I am so extremely grateful to get to call her my friend and get to stand by her on her big day!

The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what. Latasha not only has been a great friend in my life, but has become a sister. I’m so thankful to God for placing her in my life. She has taught me many things, but the most important is to never settle for less then you deserve.
