Flight

Maybe Nathan Fielder will be your pilot

If coming by plane - could fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) or Colorado Springs Airport (COS). Drive to Nathrop from DEN is 3h, from COS is 2h. Rental car options at both. If you are looking for a buddy to rental carpool with reach out to us and we can try to connect you w/someone else! If coming in at night - realize mountain roads have no street lighting. This is not Million Dollar Highway type cliffs but it still is a bit twisty in some places so take it easy and only drive when you are comfortable. We understand flying and getting a rental car can be a lot. We want our guests to really have the freedom to explore the Rockies and a car is the only way to do so!

Rental Car

Pick a car any car

What kind of car? I would get a AWD just on the off off off chance it snows. You'll likely be fine with whatever. The only dirt road is to the resort, and it's a nice packed dirt road. DRIVING TIPS : - Cops are very lax in Denver proper BUT when it comes to small mountain towns they are LITERALLY ALWAYS THERE - do not speed in small rural towns there are sheriffs lying in wait more often than not. ESPECIALLY THE FIRST 45 MIN OUTSIDE OF DENVER COPS ARE VERY PREVALENT. - Keep right - do not be the tourist who is blocking the passing lane while oogling and ahgling the views.
