As a result of having a strong moral compass, Lindsay loves to fill her apartment with ethically sourced goods and food! Lindsay cares deeply about her family and friends and is steadfast like Christ. She can often be found trying out a seasonal latte at a new coffeeshop.
Groom
Making new friends wherever he goes, Philip brings joy to every room! His love for Jesus is contagious. Philip loves his family and friends and always puts others before himself. He can often be found perfecting a new dish in the kitchen.
Maid of Honor
Emma and Lindsay go way back… to 2001 to be exact. As kids they enjoyed playing house together, making elaborate blanket forts and having lots of dance parties. Not only are they sisters but they are friends and enjoy almond milk lattes, eating good food and exploring Chicago together.
Co-Best Man
Philip and Timothy met in middle school. Timothy would often show up at Philip's house in the middle of the night, call him and tell him to come out so they could go on a sonic run. In high school, well-meaning parents, friends and teachers would often mistake Timothy for Philip.
Bridesmaid
Meghan and Lindsay met when Lindsay started dating Philip :) They have shared many meals together and Meghan even taught Lindsay how to roll sushi and spring rolls. Lindsay can't wait for Meghan to be her sister!
Co-Best Man
Philip and Grant met on the first day of middle school when Grant invited Philip to sit with him at lunch. They became close friends in part due to their shared love for basketball. Their friendship even withstood the greatest test of all... living together as roommates for a few months post-college.
Bridesmaid
Piper and Lindsay met their freshman year at Wheaton College. They quickly became inseparable and lived together the following year. Not only did Piper introduce Philip and Lindsay, but she also influenced Lindsay’s love for Chicago.
Groomsman
Vincent was one of Philip’s first close friends when his family moved to Arizona. They grew up playing every type of game together: football, basketball, card games, or video games. To this day they still enjoy playing games together!
Bridesmaid
Jordan and Lindsay met in second grade at church and became fast friends. Affectionately known as “twins," they continue to be surprised by how much they have in common including a terrible allergy to poison ivy.
Groomsman
Philip and Robin met in college and spent a summer as co-counselors at HoneyRock. When he's not napping, Robin can convince Philip to dance at any given moment. Watch your back around him though... he is a known prankster.
Bridesmaid
Josie and Lindsay have known each other since they were kids! As cousins they enjoyed many holidays and playdates together along with their cousins Emma and Blake. Josie always finds a way to make any gathering fun and can motivate people in any room!
Groomsman
Jonathan and Philip met at Wheaton College. They spent a summer together working at a youth hostel in Amsterdam. Philip is extremely grateful Jonathan keeps their apartment tidy, and hopes this has helped prepare him to live with Lindsay once they're married.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay blindly messaged Kelly the summer before their freshman year and asked her to be her roommate. Thankfully Kelly said yes! She can bring out the goofy side of Lindsay and they have shared many laughs with and at each other.
Groomsman
Brennan and Philip met their sophomore year at Wheaton College and played on chapel band together. Their bro hugs would often last longer than than their girlfriends, Emma and Lindsay, were comfortable with.
Bridesmaid
Alex and Lindsay met at church in middle school. They became good friends despite one large barrier... Alex is a Mizzou fan and Lindsay is a KU fan. Luckily, they were able to look beyond this difference! Alex is a loyal friend and has been there for Lindsay no matter what.
Groomsman
Philip and Curtis became friends during their junior year at Wheaton College. Curtis' precision in the kitchen propelled Philip to take his cooking to the next level. Lindsay is grateful he inspired Philip to level up his cooking game!
Bridesmaid
Meg and Lindsay met their senior year of high school in the Blue Valley CAPS business program. In high school, they dreamed of living together in Chicago after graduating. Their dream became a reality and now they are roommates in Chicago and both work in Finance!
Groomsman
Philip and Jon met during their summer as co-counselors at HoneyRock. During their 3-day wilderness trip together, Jon kindly offered to carry Philip's bag on top of his own. That's just the type of guy Jon is!
