So fun! This sanctuary is south of Tulum about 40 miles away from Playa Del Carmen. They offer a super fun tour that includes the monkey sanctuary, ATV (4 wheeler) ride and an exploration of an ancient Mayan cenote (underwater river cave).
Beautiful beach village about 25 miles south of playa. There are gorgeous ruins to explore as well as a local marketplace, shops, cafes and eco tourism activities to enjoy.
Beautiful outdoor shopping center with all of your favorite shops. This mall is a great place to park if you have a rental car as it also leads into the famous 5th Avenue shops, cafes, street vendors and the downtown beach.
Awesome cave restaurant! We have heard outstanding things about this place and hope to go there during this trip!
Apparently this place is so large that you could stay for weeks and not see all of it. We have done smaller tours and activities and prefer that but if you like a one-stop-spot this might be a good choice for you.
We love this island and welcome the opportunity to tell you more details on how to get there and what to do on a day visit.
Beautiful island known for amazing snorkeling.
Shea’s favorite coffee shop...this place is great! The attached resort also features an incredible rooftop day lounge with a beautiful infinity pool. Marley Coffee is also the “start” of the 5th Avenue strip with tons of shopping, cafes, bars and nightclubs.
This spot is wonderful! We stumbled upon it by accident on our first trip to 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen. The seafood is fresh from the local ocean, the textures and spices are sensational! We cannot suggest it enough. Extra special ambiance at night in their open air dining area under the twinkling lights.
