P H I L ' S S I D E In 2014, I was just transitioning out of the military, and looking to start another chapter in my life. Not really knowing where I would be headed, I decided, what the hell, and downloaded an app that would allow me to meet local singles in my area (aka Tinder.) Little did I know how that decision would change my life. I ended up on a date with an incredibly beautiful, funny, and smart girl who stole my heart... also the beer on our first date wasn't half bad either. Fast forward 4.5 years (4.5 long years if you ask Lianna,) I got down on one knee in Disney World and asked Lianna to be my wife, she said yes, and here we are! L I A N N A ' S S I D E In the summer of 2014, at the suggestion of one of my girlfriends, I downloaded a dating app on my phone. I eventually landed on a picture of Phil; he was in his full Navy dress whites and, as per my American duties, I swiped right and liked his profile. On our first date, I was immediately drawn to his smile and dedication to his work. I didn't let him kiss me at the end of the night, but clearly that didn't deter him too much because after 4 years of dating, Phil proposed and I of course said YES! Our relationship has been one of the most wonderful parts of my life. I can't wait to begin this adventure, and I'm so excited for what the future holds for us as a married couple!
