Maid of Honor
Sister of the Bride and best friend, Alli is Lauren’s sounding board for life and of course, extremely honest, fashion advice. Growing up, Lauren & Alli would play house, school, library, restaurant & doctor’s office together, in addition to throwing Mom’s pillows and couch cushions on the floor to build forts. Fast forward to now, they enjoy skiing (wanna race?!), weekend trips to visit each other and of course, Skyline Chili. If you ever need a quick, easy decision out of the Haworth girls, Alli is your go-to!
Best Man
Brother of the Groom and best friend. Joe is currently a PHD student in Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina. Lauren is excited to finally welcome a brother-"in-law" to her family. Joe has always been there to help Phil and Lauren through thick and thin, even if he unknowingly (or knowingly) photo bombs Lauren's photos.
Bridesmaid
Kim and Lauren met when Lauren visited Xavier University for Fall Break in college. They have been great friends ever since. They lived together for three years in Cincinnati and had many fun adventures exploring their neighborhood. Kim & Lauren were also famous for organizing bus trips to Keeneland Horse Race Track every Spring and Fall (Phil almost missed the bus way back in 2017). If you ever need help organizing events or wrangling a sandwich platter, Kim is your girl!
Groomsman
Friends from Xavier University and roommates at THE Ohio State University. Pat and Phil's favorite activities were running up and down High Street during OSU games. Over the 30 mark, they now prefer the adult version--grilling steaks and drinking wine.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Melissa met at work at 84.51 in Cincinnati. United by their professional aspirations, bowling league, and love of a good happy hour, Lauren and Melissa became great friends. Lauren loves that Melissa is always down for a good time. During COVID, we would frequently grab takeout and picnic in Cincinnati's wonderful parks. Melissa is always someone that Lauren can count on, and for that, she is thankful.
Groomsman
Joe and Phil met at Law School orientation. Whereas every other law student brought their spouse or significant other, Joe brought his dad and Phil brought his mom. One of Phil and Lauren's favorite memories is when Joe salsa danced with a wedding singer at another wedding. A conneseur of port wine and a skilled dancer, look for Joe in the middle of the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Lauren met Megan when she visited Xavier University back in 2010. Megan is never scared of a great roadtrip and planned some very fun weekends trips to Madison and Nashville. Megan also shares Lauren's passion for the Green Bay Packers and all things Wisconsin. Megan is always someone that Lauren can rely on. It was Megan after all, along with Kim, who set Phil and Lauren up on their first blind date.
Groomsman
Dave and Phil met in French Class at St. Xavier High School at the age of 13. They share a common love of adventurous ski trips. The most memorable was convincing their parents to let them go on a "college visit" to Colorado when they were 16. They never actually saw the campus, but they did get a lot of turns in. Dave won't admit this, but Phil taught him how to ski.
Bridesmaid
Jen is Lauren's roommate from Miami of Ohio. They met on a whitewater rafting trip that both of their freshmen dorms went on. Jen is always someone who can make Lauren laugh and loves to FaceTime about all of their college memories. Since college, they haven't lived in the same city, but have managed to stay close friends and meet up regularly in Montana, Florida, Boston, Cincinnati and Minnesota.
Groomsman
Mike and Phil grew up playing hockey together in Cincinnati. Captains of the hockey team, their athletic careers peaked as "honorable mention all-district." After college, Phil, Mike, and Dave went on a major cross country road trip, and spent 14 days camping and hiking in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. Those memories have and will last a lifetime.
Bridesmaid
The one and only Nikki B! A fellow Minnesotan, Lauren and Nicole met in Accounting class at Miami University when Nicole asked Lauren to be friends because they were both going to need help in this class. Also, they both needed to get back to Minnesota between breaks in college, which led to 12-hour road trips where Lauren drove Nicole's car the entire way. They have been friends for a long time and both share a love of summers on Lake Minnetonka.
Groomsman
Phil and Ryan were roommates at Xavier University for three years. Ryan is always down for a good adventure and a great time. One of Phil and Lauren's best memories is when Ryan woke up at 3 am in St. Louis (where he lives) to drive 6 hours for a pontoon boat day on Brookville Lake in Indiana. If you're wondering, his photo is from his Linkedin and he looks much older than 22 now.
Groomsman
Doug and Phil met early in college at Xavier University. At the time, Doug drove a souped up Ford Mustang Cobra. The Mustang was awesome but because Doug overloaded it with electronics, the battery would frequently die. In turn, Doug would need Phil's Honda Element to charge the battery. They lived together for three years and, as many men in their late teens and early 20s do, got into a plethora of adventures, including an impromptu trip to Quebec.
Groomsman
Nate and Phil met in high school. One of their favorite activities is playing 18 holes of golf, however, they usually only last 6 holes because neither of them have the talent or patience to finish the round. Nate and Phil also enjoy a fine sirlon steak from Texas Roadhouse because, in their opinion, you can't find a better steak for the price. Like Ryan, Nate also looks much older in person.
Groomsman
Jack is Phil's future brother-in-law and a native Minnesotan. Jack is a strong golfer, Skyline Chili enthusiast, and Kirk Cousins' apologist (perhaps the only one). He's a great friend to Phil and Lauren who's always willing to help out, give a restaurant recommendation, and he even tried to teach Phil how to water ski (Phil does not want to talk about that). One of Phil's fondest memories is when Jack and Alli visited Phil and Lauren last September in Cincinnati.
Usher
Tyler and Phil met on the law school intramural softball field. They share a passion for grilling, working out, and conversing about foreign policy. Phil often likes to text Tyler about his running accomplishments (even though Tyler is a former cross country runner). Tyler's a loyal friend, who isn't scared to push Phil to be a better version of himself.
Usher
Greg is one of the esteemed "law school bros" from Cleveland. Greg and Phil played intramural softball and baseball together. Greg enjoys long walks and candlelight dinners on the shores of Lake Erie. If you hear someone at the wedding referring to a Miller Light as a Miller Latte, it's Greg. If you see someone wearing a backwards Cleveland Cavaliers' hat, it's also Greg. He's a hotshot lawyer and a great friend.
