When should I RSVP by?

Can I choose songs for the reception?

Answer

You may have seen on your wedding invitation that we have invited you to pick a song/songs for our wedding reception. If you would like to do this please follow this link: www.algarve-event.com/requests.asp?djidnumber=19617 and enter our wedding date and the password - himla9h.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would recommend wearing the coolest thing you can find. The wedding, meal and reception are all in the shade but it will still be warm! The church square has cobbles so Laura is opting for flats!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you don't decide to stay in the Old Village there is plenty of parking right next to the ceremony venue if you do decide to drive. If you don't fancy driving taxis can drop off a 10 second walk away.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

As we have put on the events page, we are definitely holding hen and stag do's in Portugal in the days before the wedding. The details for these aren't confirmed but we will let you know as soon as we do (or the organisers will!). We also plan to do something special for Phil's birthday 2 days after the wedding which everyone will be welcome to.

When should I arrive?

Answer

We are arriving 7 days before the wedding (Saturday 20th August) and will be leaving 7 days after (Saturday 03rd September). Feel free to spend as much or as little time in Portugal as you fancy!

Where can I get my hair and makeup done?

Will we be back in time for term time?

Laura has already checked the term dates for 2022/23 and Salford schools do not return until 05th September.
