Please RSVP either on our website or through post by 27th May 2022.
You may have seen on your wedding invitation that we have invited you to pick a song/songs for our wedding reception. If you would like to do this please follow this link: www.algarve-event.com/requests.asp?djidnumber=19617 and enter our wedding date and the password - himla9h.
We would recommend wearing the coolest thing you can find. The wedding, meal and reception are all in the shade but it will still be warm! The church square has cobbles so Laura is opting for flats!
If you don't decide to stay in the Old Village there is plenty of parking right next to the ceremony venue if you do decide to drive. If you don't fancy driving taxis can drop off a 10 second walk away.
As we have put on the events page, we are definitely holding hen and stag do's in Portugal in the days before the wedding. The details for these aren't confirmed but we will let you know as soon as we do (or the organisers will!). We also plan to do something special for Phil's birthday 2 days after the wedding which everyone will be welcome to.
We are arriving 7 days before the wedding (Saturday 20th August) and will be leaving 7 days after (Saturday 03rd September). Feel free to spend as much or as little time in Portugal as you fancy!
I know some of you may want to get your hair/makeup/nails done for the big day so I've put some recommendations below! :) https://www.facebook.com/silvia.vilamoura/ https://www.facebook.com/hairdresservilamoura/ http://salao-elysium.com/index.php
Laura has already checked the term dates for 2022/23 and Salford schools do not return until 05th September.
We sampled quite a few when we visited in 2021 and have had quite a few recommended to us: Rui's steakhouse, Casa do Largo, Cafe del Arte, Thai Beach House, Jakks Bar, Natraj Indian Tandoori, Luna Rossa Italian, Praia de Rocha Braxinha, Buzios Beach Bar, Temperus and Bjs
